Description

  • 15 years demonstrated experience in leading the design, development, and deployment of infrastructure at scale into the cloud
  • Experience in Cloud infrastructure architecture, database architecture, storage, networking, CDN and Load balancer
  • Extensive project experience migrating from legacy systems and deploying complex cloud-based solutions
  • Experience on virtualization technologies – HyperV or VMware
  • Expertise in Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment practice, tooling, and techniques (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, git; Jenkins, Artifactory, Terraform, Ansible, AppDynamics)
  • Expertise on designing and implementing security architecture including best practices at the compute, storage, application layer and network.
  • Expertise on designing and implementing high availability and disaster recovery to ensure that workloads are highly available with a given region and can failover into the DR region.
  • Participate in feasibility studies and write reports for proposed applications.
  • Effective communication, relationship management skills and strong analytical, problem solving, out of box thinking and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and ability to coordinate with internal teams such as finance, legal, solution, practice, delivery as well as senior leadership
  • Cloud Expert recognized in industry level with proven contributions in Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS.
  • Certifications – TOGAF, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect and AWS Solution Architect Professional

Responsibilities

  • Design state-of-the-art technical solutions on Cloud that address customers’ requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance requirements
  • Create functional design specifications, reference architectures, and assist with other project deliverables as needed
  • Enable the practice unit to bring in the perspective of accelerators/enablers as needed in market
  • Advising the delivery team on futuristic trends, tools, technologies in the portfolio and supporting team to build in the competency of the same
  • Techno-commercial proposal preparation and presentation creation/modification skills as necessary in collaboration with CoE and Delivery Teams
  • Effectively communicate the solution to customer by presentations, product demonstration & documentation
  • Should be able to craft Infrastructure solutions to green field projects
  • Discuss and consult with customers to orchestrate green field Infra solutions
  • Must lead and manage a cross-functional technology team and combine technical knowledge with interpersonal skills so that the technology team can accomplish their goals efficiently and cooperatively
